Kathryn Rankin, a board certified behavior analyst, is a school consultant working with Canopy’s Autism Solutions and the school consultation program. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi and a master degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. While attending the University of North Carolina Wilmington, Kathryn was a research assistant with the Behavioral Psychopharmacology Lab. She also worked as a graduate intern at The Mariposa School for Children with Autism in Cary, North Carolina.
Prior to joining Canopy Children’s Solutions, Kathryn was a program supervisor, lead senior consultant, director of social development and clinical director in Charleston, South Carolina. She also worked as a therapist trainer and senior consultant in Raleigh, North Carolina. Learning about acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), assent-based therapy and trauma-informed care is a passion of hers. Kathryn married in April of 2022, and she enjoys traveling, reading, listening to live music.
