Congratulations to Canopy’s Public Relations and Development teams for being recognized by the Mississippi Hospital Association (MHA) during its 33rd Annual Maggie Awards presentation. The Maggie Awards competition, sponsored annually by MHA’s Society for Health Care Marketing and Public Relations, recognizes excellence in the field of health care marketing and public relations. The awards were based on public relations and marketing initiatives that took place between June of 2019 through May 2020.
During the virtual awards presentation, Canopy was recognized with top honors in four separate categories:
- Community and Annual Report-published in-house for its 2020 Annual Outcomes and Report
- Special Events, Community Service and Education for the 2019 Butterfly Ball
- External Writing for Canopy’s monthly education and awareness editorials
- Media Relations/Crisis Communications for its COVID-19 Family and Media Resources which included expert videos, editorials, social media, and a COVID resource website
