How Can I Help Raise Awareness?
- Celebrate the Spectrum of Possibilities by asking your employees to donate $15 to wear an Autism Awareness t-shirt and jeans on Friday, April 7. Participating locations will be provided informational materials to educate how early intervention therapy is helping improve the lives of children on the Autism Spectrum.
- Donate a percentage of your sales to support Canopy Autism Solutions. Choose to participate on April 2, for World Autism Day, or throughout the first week in April to help raise awareness. Canopy will promote the participating businesses or restaurants on Canopy’s social media platforms.
- Light the way blue by illuminating the exterior of your work place in blue during the first week of April to show your support of Autism Awareness.
- Clear out your cupholder by hosting a penny drive for Autism Awareness. Challenge employees to see who can raise the most by cleaning out their loose change and donating it to a worthy cause. Canopy will use the change to provide development opportunities for children on the spectrum.
