As Chief People Officer, Taheti leads with a people-first philosophy, dedicated to fostering an inclusive and empowering workplace. With over a decade of experience in human resources, leadership development, and diversity and inclusion, she is committed to aligning people strategies with Canopy’s mission. Taheti’s leadership is rooted in the belief that an engaging workforce is built on trust, collaboration, and continuous development.
Taheti earned her bachelor’s degree in human resources from Belhaven University and a master’s in Workforce Training and Development from The University of Southern Mississippi. She is a Certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), and Certified Diversity Executive (CDE®). She is also a certified facilitator for Bold and Inclusive Conversations, provided by The Winters Group, and a Gallup Strengths and Myers Briggs (MBTI) coach, helping individuals and teams discover their strengths and reach their full potential.
