Taheti Watson has over 15 years of experience in human resources, leadership development and employee engagement. She is responsible for building and developing a strong, inclusive team that lives Canopy’s Core Values. Taheti helps Canopy attract, develop, and retain exceptional, diverse team members that are committed to making a positive and sustained impact on the children, families and communities Canopy serves.
Taheti joined Canopy in 2011. She holds a Bachelor in Management from Belhaven University and a Masters in Workforce Development from The University of Southern Mississippi. Taheti is a Certified Senior Professional in Human Resources through the Human Capital Institute (SPHR) and through the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM –SCP). She is also a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach and credentialed as a Certified Diversity Executive (CDE).
Taheti’s personal mission is “each one, reach one.” She lives in Clinton, Mississippi with her husband. They have three grown children.
