Terry Hight’s career includes more than 20 years of operational management experience and expertise in the behavioral health and social services environment. As COO, Terry is a primary architect of Canopy’s strategy and oversees key initiatives to support near- and long-term growth, enhance quality, improve performance, and drive innovation. Terry is responsible for creating and implementing metrics to measure Canopy’ progress and performance. Terry oversees the direction of the Digital Transformation; Information Technology; Innovation; Measurement, Learning, and Evaluation; and Project Management Office departments.
Terry is a Licensed Psychologist and has been with Canopy since 2001. Prior to joining Canopy, Terry was part of a management consulting firm in Virginia. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Mississippi College, a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Reformed Theological Seminary. Terry was a Phi Kappa Phi graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University where he holds a Master of Science degree and a Doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology.
