As we reflect on 2025, one truth becomes clear: when the core is strong, everything else becomes possible.
This year was defined by our commitment to strengthening the core and driving innovation. Not all time is equal, and 2025 marked trajectory-shaping milestones in our 113-year history. We reflect with both deep gratitude and great expectation for what lies ahead.
At Canopy Children’s Solutions (Canopy), meaningful innovation begins at the core. It is built through disciplined focus on our mission, our values and how we show up each day. The innovations we celebrated this year are not separate from that work. They are the result of it.
One of the most significant milestones in 2025 was the advancement of Canopy Anywhere. What began as a bold vision is now a scalable statewide solution. In partnership with leaders across Mississippi, we committed to meeting an unprecedented mental health crisis with unprecedented hope.
By integrating evidence-based science of hope, Canopy’s Hope Highway© curriculum and high-tech capabilities, we are equipping students to identify goals, build pathways and strengthen relationships that fuel their future. This is more than innovation. It is a new way of delivering hope at scale, so don’t miss “Hope at Scale” on page 7 to learn more.
At the same time, we expanded our vision for children with complex trauma through Canopy’s CARES Center. Through strong partnerships, we secured the resources to provide enhanced care for youth with the most complex needs, helping fill a critical gap in Mississippi’s continuum of care. While these milestones are significant, far and away the most important work of 2025 was strengthening our core. We invested in defining and reinforcing how we think, behave, plan and act. Our core values and smart, healthy behaviors continue to provide the foundation for everything we do. Across the organization, we consistently connected back to our “why” through mission moments, team recognitions and consistent action.
Three years into our strategic plan, we are seeing the impact of that discipline. Strategic plans are more than roadmaps. They fuel momentum. As we look back on how far we have come, hope rises and that hope drives us forward. Our investments in people, processes and technology are transforming how we work and how we measure impact. From improved data systems to real-time decision making, we are building a more connected, responsive and effective organization. These efforts strengthen both outcomes and stewardship.
Because in our work, outcomes matter.
It is not enough to offer solutions. We are called to deliver results that can be measured and sustained. Outcomes are defined in partnership with those we serve, reflecting their goals and strengthened through collaboration. This year, we are proud to report measurable progress that demonstrates both the effectiveness of our work and the trust placed in us.
