Each year, four Canopy employees are selected to receive top honors for their service to the organization and the children and families of Mississippi. These recipients are honored based on the ways they live out Canopy's Core Values.
Jennifer Cottrell, an autism spectrum disorder teacher at Canopy Children’s Solutions’ CARES School Hattiesburg, recently received a classroom grant from the Mississippi Professional Educators.
Multimedia Specialist Chris Windfield is using his talents to help promote the amazing work taking place at Canopy through his work in graphic design, videography and digital marketing alongside his co-workers in PR and Development. Chris recently used his talents in service to the community creating a mural for New Horizon Church in Jackson, Mississippi. The work of art entitled “Young King,” he said was inspired in part by the work that Canopy does to help children embrace success for their future.

Nearly 20 volunteers affiliated with Canopy participated in the Sanderson Farms Championship PGA golf tournament at the Country Club of Jackson the week of September 16-22, 2019. The organization was the marshal sponsor for the 14th hole and had a front seat pass to a great week of golf for a good cause.
