What to expect while your child is at CARES Center
Solutions offered in the residential setting help provide a structured learning environment where children and youth can learn to better manage challenging thoughts and behaviors. Upon accomplishing goals, support is provided to the family to assist the child or youth in successfully transitioning back into the home and community.

Cares School

Canopy’s CARES Schools are fully-accredited, non-public, special purpose schools designed to meet the educational and behavioral needs of children whose behavior prohibits them from succeeding in a traditional classroom.

VISITATION

Visitation is Saturdays from 12 – 2 p.m. Please note that alternate visitation times may be arranged in advance with the child’s therapist and/or Care Support Specialist. Any changes to visitation day and time will be communicated to parents or guardians.
Visitation is promoted, planned and implemented as it relates to the therapeutic value created for any individual youth. Optimal levels of privacy and safety are provided to youth and visitors, as appropriate to program regulations. Youth and family confidentiality is protected through security measures developed and continually evaluated by the organization.
