Find below a list of resources and discounts available to essential healthcare workers and other essential employees during the COVID-19 pandemic.  List is as of April 16, 2020.

  • Dollar General is proud to provide all medical personnel, first responders and activated National Guardsmen with a 10 percent discount on qualifying purchases*. Individuals can present their employment badge or ID at more than 16,300 stores to receive the discount.
  • Sam’s Club Hero Hours-Starting April 19-Every Sunday from 8-10 a.m, they are offering special hero hours nationally for healthcare workers and first responders are able to shop
  • AT&Thas announced that it will be offering healthcare workers/first responders 3 free months on their FirstNet Mobile – Responder plan. Those already on the FirstNet plan will automatically receive a 3-month service credit on a smartphone or tablet line of service. Starting April 13, new subscribers are eligible for 3 free months of service, plus a $200 activation credit when activating a new FirstNet Ready smartphone on a new FirstNet Mobile – Responder plan. FirstNet is the only nationwide high-speed broadband communications platform built specifically for America’s first responders.
  • BP Amoco Stations— Healthcare workers and first responders can get $0.50 off per gallon of gas at BP and Amoco stations right now! Simply click on the green “Get my Code” button. Verify your community status via ID.me to get a unique code to use on your next fill up at BP/Amoco.
  • Free Doughnuts at Krispy Kreme— Through May 12th, Krispy Kreme is giving healthcare workers a FREE dozen doughnuts every Monday. Simply place your order in the drive-thru and show your employee badge at the window to get your free dozen.
  • Free Drink at Circle K— Through April 30th, Circle K is offering first responders and healthcare workers a FREE coffee, tea, or polar pop. Simply show your I.D. to redeem.
  • Active by POPSUGAR— Right now, Active by POPSUGAR is offering a free subscription that gives you access to workouts for all levels and fitness preferences — including toning, dance cardio, yoga workouts, and more.
  • Headspace– a mindfulness and meditation app, is offering a free subscription to Headspace Plus to all healthcare workers in the U.S. through 2020
  • Starbucks is offering a free tall brewed coffee (hot or iced) to first responders and healthcare workers until May 3rd all across the country.
  • Crocs, the company that creates popular shoes for healthcare providers, is donating 10,000 shoes a day. All you have to do is go to the Crocswebsite and get in line at 12 p.m. ET for each day’s giveaway.
  • Glowforge-3-D printer company Glowforge is making and offering free Ear Savers to frontline workers including nurses, doctors, retail workers, delivery workers, sanitation workers, and others who must wear a mask. Ear Savers are designed to take pressure and friction off the ears while wearing face masks. Fill out a request on their webpage.
  • Big Lotsis offering a 15% discount off everything for medical professionals, first responders, and active military/veterans. Just show your badge or work/military ID or use code BIGHEROES online. Offer good through April 30.
  • Under Armour-In addition to military and teacher discounts, apparel company Under Armouris offering a 40% discount to first responders and healthcare workers to include nurses, doctors, medical staff, police, firefighters, and EMT. To receive the discount, verify your eligibility with ID.me and choose Military and First Responder Discount at checkout.
