Butterfly Ball, presented by Trustmark, was a special night for the community to come together during a premier black-tie gala to support innovative solutions for children’s mental health.
New this year, Butterfly Ball attendees experienced the sounds of Big Band as Canopy’s historic mission came alive to music! Capitol City Stage Band played big band classics and took us on a musical journey through Canopy’s 110-year history. Accompanying the band on vocals was Adam Collier and dancing the foxtrot, waltz and more styles was Gotham Dance Club and The Mississippi Dance Doctors. To celebrate Canopy’s 110-year history, our youth volunteers were welcomed on stage with birthday cakes. Guests sang happy birthday to Canopy before enjoying celebratory confetti cake. Special thank you to Stephen Barnette of Davaine Lighting and Gary Watts.
