Research has shown that humans show patterns of learning and responding that differ from animals in similar situations. Relational Frame Theory (RFT) has been offered as a functional analytic approach to understanding human language and cognition. This workshop will give an overview of RFT, as well as discuss implications for ABA practice, in particular with children with autism.
