Meet the Caring Staff of Canopy Behavioral Health Clinic Jackson

Leah Rigney, M.Ed., MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, Nurse Practitioner

Leah is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Canopy’s Center of Excellence providing psychological assessments and medication management. She has a background in general nursing and is a former educator and Licensed Guidance Counselor.

Leah received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Mississippi State University before pursuing a master’s degree in Education with an emphasis in Counseling from the University of West Alabama. She worked toward an associate degree in nursing from East Central Community College before tackling her second master’s degree, this time from the University of Mississippi Medical Center under the psychiatric nurse practitioner track program. She is also a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society.

Hart Wylie, PMHNP-BC, Nurse Practitioner

Hart is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Canopy’s Center of Excellence providing mental health evaluations and medication management. She has a background in general nursing and also worked as a Licensed Professional Counselor.

Hart holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Mississippi College and a master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy/Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary in Clinton. She has also received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Nursing from UMMC.
